This neat little tool helps monitor network connection and whether data is coming in or out. I mostly used this tool to block unwanted ads or spam. An example would be a flash player containing annoying ads would be displayed…The little snitch configuration will pop up and you can choose to deny that connection for the particular page until you leave. As you can see, it is a pretty nice too. You also choose to deny connections that software force you to update for instance. You can find a preview of the tool here.
